Online classes, with attendance and reporting built in.

Built classroom and meeting tools that connect live sessions, participation tracking, recordings, and reporting with existing systems.

DeliveredMinute-by-minute attendance tracking, meeting recordings stored in S3, and APIs that make session data available for reporting and class metrics.

Ownership
Full-stack development of the meeting management system, alongside classroom applications and integrations at Centre for Content Creation.
Meeting system
Used JavaScript and AWS Chime for online classes and meetings. Implemented minute-by-minute attendance tracking, recordings, automated storage in Amazon S3, and APIs for other systems to access meeting data.
Classroom applications
Developed an embeddable class management application used by multiple institutions, covering scheduling, participation tracking, and integration with existing systems. Later in-house classroom work integrated third-party applications and internal systems, reducing reliance on external subscriptions.
Delivery
Supported legacy modernization, multi-environment DevOps, and deployment procedures across the wider engineering work.

From insurance rates to integrated policy issuance.

An insurance comparison platform connecting internal users and partner systems to quoting and issuance across multiple insurance products.

DeliveredNormalized rates from multiple providers into one interface, with integrated quotation and policy issuance flows.

Problem
Providers exposed different quotation and issuance flows. Internal teams and partner systems needed consistent access across motor, medical, group medical, and fire insurance.
Ownership
Built backend and frontend rate-fetching and normalization as a Senior Full Stack Developer, then led development and operations as Engineering Director.
Engineering
Integrated external insurer APIs and internal services; applied security and consistency checks. Revamped legacy systems with emphasis on code clarity, performance, and integration stability.
Result
Consistent quoting and policy issuance experiences across internal and partner workflows, aligned with changing business and regulatory requirements.

Helped develop a human resource management system supporting multiple companies, with configurable structures, leave entitlements, and attendance policies.

A home rental and subletting management system bringing property, tenant, and contract workflows into a single operational platform.

Staff needed to manage contracts, renewals, cancellations, and financial visibility across more than 20 rental properties.

Designed and implemented the business subletting and home rental management system as a freelance Principal Full Stack Solution Developer.

Focused on reliable data structures and multi-entity handling of properties, tenants, and contracts. Included contract generation and payment tracking.

I’ve worked across education, financial services, and property technology — from legacy modernization and deployment processes to engineering leadership. Alongside delivery, I teach software development and help teams build their technical understanding.
